About the Role
As an Associate Data Analytics, you will be an integral part of the Business Unit AI + Innovation, a group setting standards for actionable intelligence solutions in consulting. We combine insight with foresight to provide clients and colleagues with first-class advice during critical moments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze media coverage, public discourse, and digital conversations to identify patterns and translate them into strategic recommendations on reputation risks, campaign performance, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Translate complex communication challenges into clear analytical approaches to determine what data reveals and its implications for client strategy.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that transform data points into actionable insights, advising at an equal level with experienced senior consultants.
- Support pitches and client briefings with data-driven arguments and intelligence that differentiate recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and internal data scientists, acting as the link between analytical rigor and consulting logic.
- Maintain and update the methods repertoire, including new AI-powered tools, improved analysis frameworks, and sharper visualizations.
Requirements
- Completed or nearing completion of higher education, with practical experience gained during studies.
- Strong affinity for news and understanding of media dynamics, including topic framing, underlying interests, and drivers of reporting.
- Structured thinking, reliable work ethic, and ability to condense complex issues to essentials.
- Ability to prepare results that are convincing at the board level.
- Proactive, with an interest in AI and data-driven approaches, and a drive to develop own ideas.
- Clear and target-group-oriented communication skills, capable of transforming data and analyses into compelling narratives.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
