About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager & People Lead, you will work on a strategically important product developed in collaboration with a federal ministry. You will shape the entire product journey with your project partners and multidisciplinary team, while also taking on disciplinary leadership for up to four (Senior) Product Managers and fostering their professional development.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for the strategic direction and sustainable development of your product from discovery to delivery.
- Definition of clear project and impact goals, development of an inspiring product vision, and derivation of a measurable product strategy.
- Realization of the product in the team based on iterative, hypothesis-driven approaches and modern product discovery methods.
- Empowerment and close collaboration with your multidisciplinary project team.
- Constructive, transparent, and results-oriented collaboration with external stakeholders.
- Disciplinary leadership of up to four (Senior) Product Managers, supporting their development and contributing to the advancement of the internal Product Community.
- Optional: Taking on the (co-)project management role, including responsibility for overarching budget and controlling tasks.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the conception, launch, and scaling of digital products or services.
- Sound competencies in lateral team leadership of interdisciplinary product teams and in the disciplinary leadership and further development of Product Managers.
- User-centric mindset and an insight-driven, data-based approach to product development.
- Clear, target-group-oriented communication – with openness to feedback and constructive exchange at eye level, both within the product team and at the ministry level.
- Genuine interest in the administration target group and high motivation and willingness to learn for transformation in the public sector.
- Fluent German (C1) and English language skills.
- Availability to start as soon as possible.
