About the Role
As a Software Engineer at HRT, you will write code that is our business, creating and maintaining critical technology and infrastructure integral to our trading success. You will collaborate with engineers on trading algorithms and monitoring in a fast-paced, real-time environment. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain critical technology and infrastructure.
- Work closely with other engineers to design trading algorithms.
- Monitor trading in an extremely fast-paced, real-time environment.
- Analyze and fix problems quickly.
- Describe software designs at high and low levels.
Requirements
- Full-time undergraduate or master’s student studying computer science or a related field.
- Eligible for full-time roles in 2027.
- Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Working experience with C/C++ or Python.
- Good CS fundamentals.
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Linux).
- Knowledge of system/processor performance.
- Knowledge of network communication.
