About the Role

We are seeking a flexible and freelance or permanent Web Development Instructor to support us with short-notice workshops and training sessions as needed. Your role will be to teach various topics of modern web development in German and English and to develop your own practical modules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online training sessions to teach frontend and backend technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, React.js) and Github/version control according to the curriculum.
• Create engaging learning materials, including lessons, exercises, and mini-projects, for practical application of course content.
• Motivate and empower students in their career-preparation development process towards successful completion.
• Provide technical support for content-related questions and foster a trusting, personality-promoting learning atmosphere.
• Continuously optimize the course by contributing own ideas, active evaluation, and improvement of the overall learning experience.

Requirements

• Completed degree or training in programming or web development.
• Several years of professional experience in web development with sound knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally MySQL/PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and PHP (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Experience in training, knowledge transfer, or curriculum design is an advantage.
• Enjoy teaching complex topics in an understandable and practical way.
• Didactic skills, patience, and enthusiasm for working with people in further education.
• Very good German or English language skills.
