About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio, ensuring strong relationships and consistent value delivery.
- Develop new business opportunities to expand presence and acquire new clients.
- Own and expand book of business, exceeding sales targets through new client acquisition and enhancing existing relationships.
- Proactively manage accounts, minimizing cancellations and ensuring long-term client value and satisfaction.
- Oversee contracts for new and renewal business, collaborating with internal stakeholders for a smooth process.
- Partner with sales professionals, product management, Pre-Sales, after-sales consultants, and support teams to deliver exceptional client solutions.
- Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts using Salesforce CRM.
- Leverage Morningstar products and expertise to provide tailored solutions that empower clients to succeed.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent with a financial or analytical discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of selling Financial Data solutions, ideally from providers like Factset, FE Fundinfo, ICE Data Services, or LSEG.
- Experience selling into a wide range of institutional clients, including Buy and Sell side, Data Vendors, and Media.
- Proven track record of exceeding prior targets.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Hands-on, organized individual capable of building long-term client relationships.
- Strong leadership, long-range planning, and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations.
- Comfortable working in a high-performance team environment and able to work independently with limited oversight.
- Charismatic individual who can easily influence others.
- Strong business instincts, good judgment, and a creative mindset.
- Impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards.
