About the Role

ITT Goulds Pumps is seeking a Contract Administrator in Seneca Falls, NY, to manage contracts with technical specifications, ensuring customer requirements are met. This role involves reviewing specifications, managing projects, reconciling orders, and handling documentation, while supporting sales, customer service, finance, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, configure, and enter orders, addressing unacceptable clauses and reviewing pricing.
• Review customer technical specifications to ensure hardware and software requirements are scheduled.
• Enter software, hardware, QA, and tagging requirements into ERP and order tracking systems.
• Draft purchase requisitions for major buy-out items, identifying specification details for buyers and sub-vendors.
• Administer orders/projects by identifying and initiating changes through the FOCN process and document tracking.
• Review and acknowledge customer POs as required.
• Coordinate and resolve software and hardware related questions from customers and internal personnel.
• Assist the finance department with collection issues and purchase terms clarification.
• Support customer service reps in expediting shipments and informing inspectors/expeditors of job status.
• Meet with commercial engineering to clarify hardware and software requirements.
• Resolve manufacturing and shipping problems with the shipping floor and assembly floor.
• Perform miscellaneous functions as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with equivalent experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• ERP and MS Office experience.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a concern for quality.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to be a team player.
• General understanding of T/C’s, sales terms, freight terms, and payment terms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding and adherence to ITT safety policies and procedures.
