About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is an entry-level position where you will be an integral part of a team servicing vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to invest in your career at Firestone Complete Auto Care, with full and part-time benefits available from day one, including tool program discounts.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive issues including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Perform oil changes and/or scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries and shock absorbers.
  • Check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must possess a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
  • Must be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Experience in the automotive service industry is preferred.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills are required.
  • If hired, a Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification must be completed at the start of employment.
  • Temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify you from employment.
