About the Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be a key member of the Estate Management team, ensuring communities are well-maintained and efficiently run. You will support daily operations by engaging with residents, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining records. This role offers career growth opportunities, with the potential to become an Estate Manager within 12-18 months.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with clear, friendly, and professional communication.
- Maintain the property management system (Qube) with accurate and organized information.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs by liaising with contractors and managing work orders to ensure timely completion to a high standard.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety legislation and company policies for estate safety and compliance.
- Assist with budget management, purchase order issuance, and financial reporting to control costs.
Requirements
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building relationships.
- Skilled in multitasking, time management, and efficient task handling.
- Proficient with systems such as databases (Qube knowledge is a plus) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with contractors and managing reactive maintenance, or a strong aptitude for learning quickly.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team environment.
- A good standard of education is essential.
- Previous experience in customer service and contractor management is desirable.
- Property qualifications (e.g., IRPM Part 1) would be an advantage but not essential.
