About the Role

As a Department Supervisor, you will support sales and profit goals by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in your department and the overall store, adhering to H&M standards, policies, and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
  • Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within your department and collaborate with your Department Manager to act on them.
  • Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team actively promotes and sells products.
  • Ensure your team actively promotes the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and at checkout, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
  • Handle all admin routines for both people and operations correctly.
  • Keep up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and influencers.
  • Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
  • Retain and share knowledge and skills with the Store team.
  • Collaborate and plan with the in-store Visual Merchandiser team.
  • Give and receive feedback with colleagues for learning and development.
  • Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate, and inspire.
  • Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockroom areas.
  • Ensure high fashion quality, visual, and commercial product presentation with good garment care.
  • Provide input on stock levels and allocation to the Area team.
  • Manage the full garment cycle from delivery to presentation, adhering to internal standards and routines.
  • Uphold best practices for in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech services/tools.
  • Maintain price signs in-store according to global and local strategies and market requirements.
  • Update and maintain Back of House (BOH) areas for all colleagues, including key information, health & safety, and tidiness.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store daily.
