About the Role
Drive growth and customer success within assigned Red Hat accounts by developing and executing account strategies that align Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud solutions with customer priorities. Identify opportunities for expansion through up-sell, cross-sell, renewals, and new business development, collaborating with internal specialists and partners to deliver value-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Engage key customer stakeholders to understand their goals and position Red Hat solutions.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from lead qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Identify and expand opportunities across Red Hat’s product portfolio, driving new and renewal business.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to structure and deliver winning solutions.
- Work with channel partners and service teams to accelerate adoption and ensure customer success.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitors to articulate Red Hat’s value proposition.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in technology or software sales, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or open-source solutions.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales process.
- Familiarity with Red Hat’s portfolio or similar technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in CRM tools.
- A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
