About the Role

As the Account Management Team Director for Japan, you will play a crucial role in driving Sensor Tower's growth and success in the dynamic Japanese market. You will oversee all aspects of account management in Japan, including sales expansion, client management, strategy development, and team management. We are looking for individuals with extensive experience in sales, business development, and management, who are passionate about driving growth and achieving tangible results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the account director team to drive contract renewals, upsells, and improve net revenue retention (NRR).
  • Share strategic plans with the account team and oversee their execution and promotion.
  • Collaborate with account directors, sales, finance, marketing, operations, and management within Sensor Tower to support each department.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key clients and strategic accounts to identify and resolve customer challenges.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure our plans align with customer business goals and strategies.
  • Design and operate reports for sales analysis.
  • Engage with client executives (C-level) to discuss strategies and solutions using our platform.
  • Act as a liaison between the product team and customers, managing expectations for feature requests and releases.
  • Identify opportunities for product penetration and contract renewals/upsells within the assigned customer base.
  • Provide training, analysis, insights, and best practices to the account director team under your management.

Requirements

  • Over 8 years of key account management experience in proposing and selling complex solutions.
  • Over 3 years of experience managing sales teams responsible for enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and management (experience in SaaS or technology industry is desirable).
  • Ability to lead teams, boost morale, drive results, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and coordinate diverse tasks.
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese market, including cultural backgrounds, business practices, and regulatory environments.
  • Business-level reading, writing, and conversational skills in both English and Japanese.
