Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and maintain a distributed trading system.
Learn the fundamentals of large-scale, high-performance infrastructure.
Sharpen C++/Python programming skills.
Gain experience working as a full-time software engineer.
Undertake projects targeted for production, following a full-cycle development, testing, and release process using Agile methodologies.
Receive continuous feedback and coaching from a dedicated mentor.

Requirements

Experience with C++ programming on Linux.
Experience with command line on Linux.
Experience with Git/version control.
Experience with Python programming on Linux.
Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment, deploying new software daily.
Passion for solving complex problems using both novel and state-of-the-art commercial solutions.
Interest in using knowledge from hardware, networking, and operating systems to produce extremely high-performance software.
Reliable and predictable availability.
No finance or economics study or work experience required.
