About the Role
Millennium Hotel and Resorts UK is seeking a Groups Manager to join their Event booking centre team. This role focuses on maximizing revenue and building strong client relationships through effective sales techniques and strategies, while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and convert incoming Groups Business enquiries, including proposal negotiation, upselling, and revenue/volume conversion.
- Manage site visits for clients, bookers, and event suppliers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor hotels and venues.
- Ensure multi-property enquiries are managed effectively by the team.
- Supervise all post-contract communication, queries, amendments, and planning with clients up to the event date.
- Resolve client disputes and complaints professionally within guidelines.
- Sell and convert the Group's business facility.
- Support the accurate production of daily, weekly, and monthly management information.
- Collaborate with central and management teams to propose and implement departmental efficiencies and process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in managing and converting Groups Business enquiries.
