About the Role
Software Engineer to join a team specializing in state-of-the-art military communications and signals intelligence products. This role operates in a small, agile environment, allowing for independent work on a variety of systems and products with a typical development cycle of less than one year.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software from the requirements phase to the delivered product
- Analyze, design, and implement software subsystems given a set of high-level requirements
- Analyze and improve system performance as needed
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure best practices and code quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development
- Experience in developing solutions using Java, Python and HTML based frameworks
- Ability to quickly learn challenging concepts, decompose difficult software problems and provide resolution
- Experience with Linux/Windows operating systems and deploying software to Linux and Windows operating system
- Experience with Android Studio
- Experience with Object Oriented Design principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD and GitLab or other git based code repository
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- This position requires eligibility to obtain a Top Secret / TS/SCI clearance.
- Candidates will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal requirements
