About the Role

Telexistence is developing remote-controlled robots powered by artificial intelligence with the mission to "change robots, change structures, change the world." We are seeking a professional to manage the mass production system and operations of our proprietary robots, including setting production site operational designs, establishing delivery and quality standards, introducing equipment, selecting vendors, and managing these functions daily. The key role is to optimize the three major elements of production and manufacturing: Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Responsibilities

Document assembly procedures, understanding product structure through discussions with design engineers.
Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to communicate assembly steps to workers.
Operate 3D CAD software to understand product structures.
Construct inspection processes for each production stage, liaising between product development and production sites.
Support production line setup at mass production factories, including on-site business trips.
Analyze and confirm the smooth flow of the production line, implementing improvements as needed.
Introduce new equipment and modify existing equipment in communication with mechanical and electrical engineers to improve productivity, product quality, and production efficiency.
Collaborate with the QA department to set quality standards for minimizing defects and improving yield rates, implementing appropriate process and acceptance inspections.

Requirements

Experience in building production lines for hardware products; experience at a hardware startup is a plus.
Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software design processes.
Analytical skills, attention to detail, proactivity, ability to communicate actively and smoothly with team members, and ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English, with strong interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel overseas.
Extensive experience in creating SOPs for mass production.
