About the Role

As a Finance Administrator, you will support the day-to-day financial administration of project activities, ensuring invoices and financial records are processed accurately and efficiently. You will play a key role in managing invoice payments, maintaining financial documentation, and supporting projects teams with finance-related processes. Working closely with the project and finance teams, you will help ensure supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner and financial systems are maintained with a high level of accuracy. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enforce standardised project administration process, systems, and documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance
Assist in processing supplier invoices and subcontractor claims and variations and Schedule of Rates
Timely processing of dockets, purchase orders and invoices to enable accurate End of Month reporting
Ensure all administrative activities, processes, and procedures comply with John Holland standards
Process invoices, purchase orders (POs), and expense claims in line with project procedures
Verify accuracy of financial documentation and ensure proper approvals are obtained
Manage supplier payments and ensure timely processing

Requirements

Previous experience in finance administration, accounts payable or a similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial data and invoices
Reliable, organised and able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
Confident using Excel and working with spreadsheets and financial systems
Experience using financial or ERP software is highly regarded
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and suppliers
Positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude
Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment
