About the Role
We are building the operating system for renewable energy and simplify the management of energy assets with Amperecloud Platform. We're looking for a product-first fullstack engineer to build the platform that 300+ energy operators rely on every day, monitoring 8,000+ solar and wind plants with more than 10 GWp under management. This is real-time, mission critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features across frontend and backend using Node.js, React, and microservices on Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain APIs that connect inverters, data loggers, and third-party systems
- Work on ingestion, processing, and alerting for live telemetry from thousands of plants
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs before customers notice them, supported by Grafana and Prometheus
- Collaborate in an agile team where engineers shape decisions
- Master the stack, ship platform features, and own platform areas within the first 6 months
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience shipping production software with Node.js and React, ideally a SaaS platform
- Shipped features at a high-growth startup or top-tier tech company
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs
- Comfortable working in a Kubernetes/microservices environment
- Systematically track down issues
