About the Role
Urgently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep management experience for a full-time position at our sleep lab. This role involves providing sleep services and facilitating diagnostic testing and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
- Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
- Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
- Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
- Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate equipment.
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust focus.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required; must meet federal employment eligibility requirements (E-Verify participation).
