About the Role
Gateway Workshops is seeking experienced massage tutors with teaching experience to join their team in central London. The role involves training small groups of students in various therapies, ensuring they gain an excellent grasp of the training content.
Responsibilities
- Training groups of up to 6 massage students.
- Delivery of Gateway accredited courses through high-quality teaching materials.
- Working to specific lesson plans with efficiency.
- Communicating with students in a timely and effective manner.
- Adapting training techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Applying appropriate and fair methods of assessment and providing constructive feedback.
- Preparing the room in advance of training.
- Ensuring appropriate records are kept up to date and student registration documents are completed.
Requirements
- Excellent experience as a hands-on massage therapist.
- A full understanding and in-depth knowledge of the accredited massage courses that Gateway offer.
- 5 years experience as a therapist for each therapy you wish to teach.
- A teacher training qualification (AET or equivalent or willing to take our AET online course).
