About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Rider Onboarding Associate to join our UKI team. This is a remote, field-based Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role with operational roots in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, or London. In this role, you’ll help us build, scale, and optimise our physical onboarding ecosystem, directly securing the rider fleet capacity needed to power our three-sided marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Optimise hub performance by evolving the format and workflow of physical Rider Onboarding Hubs.
- Scale the footprint by designing, operationalising, and expanding physical onboarding spaces across the UKI.
- Drive the strategic roadmap by architecting and executing the 12-month delivery plan for in-person onboarding.
- Partner with Rider Support, Product, and broader Onboarding teams to troubleshoot operational issues.
- Deliver field onboarding by travelling extensively across the UKI to lead face-to-face onboarding sessions.
- Manage local supply constraints by targeting and eliminating rider deficits in hard-to-source zones.
- Execute seasonal campaigns by leading tactical supply planning and execution for peak trading seasons.
Requirements
- Proven operational experience within technology, start-ups, food delivery logistics, or direct experience working as a Deliveroo Rider.
- A self-starter mindset with a demonstrated ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong empathetic listening and communication skills.
- Capability to influence internal product teams and manage candidate groups.
- A valid UKI driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Flexibility to travel early and late.
