About the Role
Join our team to help shape a modern and future-proof Berlin administration and drive digitalization. We are looking for active support for the Corporate Management department.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on data protection issues, particularly according to GDPR and BlnDSG/BDSG, and develop standards in the context of data protection.
- Create and review data protection concepts, data protection impact assessments, and other relevant documents.
- Support the definition, evaluation, and implementation of technical and organizational measures (TOMs).
- Collaborate closely with internal and external project stakeholders and data protection officers.
- Prepare service descriptions and manage external partners within the framework of service provision from the "Data Protection" framework agreement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or university of applied sciences degree (e.g., Law, (Business) Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Economics) or comparable knowledge and skills acquired otherwise.
- Advanced knowledge of fundamental data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, BDSG, BlnDSG, IVG & IFG Berlin, TKG, TMG).
- Knowledge and experience in creating data protection concepts and impact assessments.
- Strong knowledge and experience in providing targeted consulting services in data protection for IT projects, including documentation of consulting content and results.
- German language skills at C1 level (GER).

- Ability to quickly grasp new and complex issues.
- Conscientious and responsible decision-making with understandable outcomes.
- Ability to present information effectively to target audiences.
- Basic knowledge of information security and IT architectures.
- Experience in service-oriented consulting in the public sector.
- Independent and structured way of working.
- Data protection certification.
