About the Role
Join our clinic team at Friedrich von Bodelschwingh-Klinik and Epilepsieklinik Tabor in Bernau. We are seeking a Safety Officer / Fire Protection Officer (m/f/d) for a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a Safety Officer and Fire Protection Officer according to § 6 ASiG, supporting the employer and other responsible parties.
- Oversee and maintain operational facilities, social, and sanitary installations.
- Manage the procurement of technical work equipment and the introduction of work procedures and materials.
- Design workplaces, workflows, work environments, and address ergonomic considerations.
- Assess working conditions and conduct safety checks.
- Inspect operational facilities and technical work equipment before commissioning, and review work procedures before implementation.
- Monitor compliance with occupational safety, fire protection, and accident prevention regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify safety and fire protection deficiencies.
- Document identified deficiencies and develop corrective measures.
- Track the implementation of measures to improve occupational and fire safety.
- Investigate and analyze work accidents and develop preventive measures.
- Advise management and employees on all aspects of occupational health and fire safety.
- Raise employee awareness regarding safe and healthy workplace behavior.
- Conduct and support training on occupational health and fire safety topics.
- Participate in the training and further education of safety officers and fire wardens.
Requirements
- Completed training as a master craftsman, technician, or engineer, preferably with safety engineering expertise in a clinical setting and fire protection training.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
- Willingness to travel regularly between clinic locations.
- Minimum C2 language proficiency.
- High level of commitment, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Sense of responsibility and sociability in dealing with patients and employees.
- Proficient in MS Office.
