About the Role
Eucalyptus is seeking a passionate and caring Patient Support Specialist to communicate with patients and the medical team via our platform and manage appointment workflows. This role is crucial in shaping the team, company culture, and patient offering for Juniper Germany, a growing part of Eucalyptus. The position may include Saturday shifts as part of a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient inquiries, prioritize, process, and resolve them accurately.
- Oversee the onboarding of new patients.
- Proactively handle incoming requests and conduct calls to ensure product and service delivery exceeds patient expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the pharmacy, nursing staff, and medical team to ensure timely and safe patient communication and order fulfillment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient feedback, identifying and relaying shortcomings, escalating issues, resolving errors, and continuously improving products and services.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of process documentation.
- Manage the Facebook community, including member approvals and weekly posts.
- Demonstrate flexibility to take on additional tasks or new responsibilities as needed by Eucalyptus.
- Contribute to the development of new patient support processes and tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, or another customer-facing role.
- Bilingual proficiency in German (fluent) and English (minimum B2), both written and spoken.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication tone to different patients.
- Empathetic, reliable, caring, and possess a strong focus on problem-solving.
- Proficient with computers or experience with customer experience software (Google Suite and Zendesk knowledge is a plus).
- Enthusiasm for a dynamic work environment, with a proactive approach and the ability to show initiative.
- Quick learner with independent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
