About the Role
Help the Diary of a CEO guest booking team identify and recommend world-class guests by leveraging deep knowledge of the YouTube and podcast landscape, combined with data from various tools. Turn insights about creators, audiences, and content trends into guest recommendations to give the show a competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Monitor YouTube, podcast charts, and social platforms to identify emerging guests, rising creators, and shifting audience interests in the UK and US.
- Utilize analytics tools to extract performance data on potential guests and present findings clearly to the booking team.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of key figures in the long-form podcast and YouTube ecosystem, including their audiences, recent content, and growth trajectory.
- Identify creators gaining momentum before they reach peak popularity.
- Provide data-driven context for guest recommendations, including views, engagement, audience overlap, and topic relevance.
- Assist the pre-production team with research, audience insights, and competitor analysis.
Requirements
- Genuine, demonstrable knowledge of the long-form YouTube and podcast ecosystem across the UK and US.
- Comfort with YouTube Analytics and similar platforms.
- Ability to understand and interpret data effectively.
- Strong research instincts and exceptional attention to detail.
