About the Role
Join Northrop Grumman UK's Quality & Mission Assurance team as a Management Systems and Audit Manager. In this leadership role, you will shape and strengthen our governance, compliance, and assurance framework. You will maintain and develop our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001, and support future certifications. You will also oversee a risk-based audit program to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Northrop Grumman UK's Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Manage the organization's external ISO certification portfolio and support the attainment of new certifications that enable strategic growth.
- Develop and oversee a three-year risk-based audit program covering internal processes, programmes, suppliers, customers, and external assurance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by partnering with process owners and business functions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Lead and develop the Management Systems and Audit team, providing coaching, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide meaningful reporting to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and improving integrated management systems within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of management system standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience creating, managing, and delivering risk-based audit programmes.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Government security clearance for this role.
- Must be able to gain and maintain the required UK Government security clearance as a condition of employment.
