Responsibilities

  • Own key parts of the product development process from concept through to final approval.
  • Review submissions for graphics, colour, materials, trims, print technique, packaging, and overall execution.
  • Prepare clear, constructive feedback in partnership with the Product Development Manager and creative team.
  • Ensure submissions meet Hasbro's brand standards, creative direction, and legal requirements.
  • Track the approval process end-to-end, including comments, revisions, samples, and next steps.
  • Contribute product inspiration, trend boards, and creative decks for partners.
  • Review line plans, range presentations, samples, CADs, artwork, and packaging.
  • Spot opportunities to raise creative quality and strengthen licensed product ranges.
  • Apply Hasbro style guides and franchise direction to keep products authentic and relevant.
  • Work across multiple Hasbro brands, including preschool, games, action, fantasy, and lifestyle-led properties.
  • Stay current on fashion, retail, and consumer trends across EMEA.
  • Share relevant product, retail, and competitor examples with the team.
  • Research new product ideas, materials, finishes, and fashion-led executions.
  • Bring cultural awareness to how Hasbro brands show up at retail.
  • Communicate directly with licensees, agents, and retail partners throughout development.
  • Give partners access to creative assets, style guides, and approval information.
  • Take part in creative kick-offs, product reviews, range meetings, trade shows, and retailer presentations.
  • Keep clear records of actions and follow-ups from partner meetings.
  • Build strong working relationships through timely, clear communication.
  • Maintain product trackers, approval records, and sample logs.
  • Keep samples, references, and digital files organized.
  • Use internal approval tools accurately and flag issues early.
  • Suggest improvements to team processes and communication.
  • Help the Product Development Manager and EMEA creative team with day-to-day delivery.

Requirements

  • A good eye for product detail — colour, graphics, materials, layout, construction, and packaging.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and updates.
  • A clear communicator who can turn feedback into concise notes and actions.
  • Collaborative and curious, with an interest in building product judgement in licensing.
  • Some experience in fashion, apparel, accessories, footwear, lifestyle products, licensed consumer products, design, buying, or merchandising.
  • Understanding of product development from concept through to approval, sampling, or production.
  • Good knowledge of fashion, lifestyle, retail, and consumer trends.
  • Able to review product details, give clear feedback, and work with creative assets, style guides, samples, and approval systems.
  • Good organization, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with entertainment, gaming, toy, character, lifestyle, or fandom-led brands is advantageous.
