About the Role
Shrek's Adventure! London is seeking a Costume Character to deliver a high-quality, interactive, and fun meet-and-greet show. This role is crucial in bringing the attraction to life and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality, interactive, and fun meet-and-greet show.
- Be part of a unique, hard-working, and thrilling Entertainments Team.
- Create a memorable experience for every guest.
- Perform for over 100,000 guests.
- Utilize theatrical skills daily and gain performance experience.
- Work alongside a team of actors and meet new people in the industry.
- Develop operational skills, including show gags and timed performances.
- Support the smooth running of shows by maintaining energy, character focus, and performance quality.
- Be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- Previous experience in acting or performance (theatre, immersive attractions, or similar).
- Must be between the height of 5ft 11in - 6ft 3in.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Strong character acting skills with confidence to perform in costume.
- Ability to memorize scripts and adhere to strict timings.
- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
- Physical stamina for high-energy performances.
- Team player with professionalism and reliability.
- Bonus: Experience in entertainment, theme parks, or live events.
