About the Role

The Production Engineering Specialist ensures products meet high standards and customer requirements. This role involves wiring, assembly, testing, calibration, and fault-finding of equipment, reporting to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Wiring, assembly, and testing of production equipment in line with project requirements.
• Cleaning, processing, and logging of equipment returns and RMAs.
• Providing cover for goods in/out during annual leave.
• Calibration and building of radar units.
• Supporting development with prototype builds.
• Fault finding and repair of equipment.

• Ability to work alongside the production team in serving the needs of the engineering team, clients, and delivering a quality service.
• Experience of mechanical assembly.
• Wiring/soldering/crimping experience.
• Cable assembly experience.
• Electronics testing and assembly to board level experience.
• Good general IT skills, including use of MS Office programs.
• Ability to follow work instructions/drawings/diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
