About the Role

We are seeking reliable, customer-focused Home Delivery Van Drivers to join our delivery team. This role involves delivering beds, mattresses, and furniture into customers' homes, assembling products as needed, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Delivering beds, mattresses and furniture safely into customers' homes
• Assembling products in the customer's room of choice
• Providing friendly, professional customer service on every delivery
• Working as part of a two-person delivery team
• Using a handheld PDA to manage deliveries and complete delivery records
• Driving safely and carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Representing the Bensons for Beds brand with pride

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence
• Previous experience driving a commercial van is preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Confidence lifting and manoeuvring heavy furniture (manual handling experience is essential)
• Comfortable using handheld devices or PDAs (desirable)
• Must be 21 years of age or over for insurance purposes
