About the Role
As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will support and maintain the network, implement projects and solutions, and collaborate with other infrastructure teams. You will play a key role in ensuring critical network infrastructure is optimized for security, high availability, and disaster recovery, and collaborate with the Information Security Team to ensure compliance with ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and PCN standards. This position offers the opportunity to design, secure, and implement new cloud platforms and systems, providing a robust network for our staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the network.
- Implement projects and solutions following best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with other infrastructure teams such as Cloud and EUC.
- Support junior members in your team.
- Ensure critical network infrastructure is optimized for security, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with the Information Security Team to ensure compliance with ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and PCN standards.
- Design, secure, and implement new cloud platforms and systems.
- Deliver infrastructure services that underpin our services, including Azure, AWS and on-premises technology.
Requirements
- Experienced problem solver who can work on initiative and with others to identify creative and innovative solutions.
- Adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage a complex and varied workload.
- Proficiency in implementing and troubleshooting Meraki SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Meraki Wireless, Palo Alto Firewall, Cloud, and on-premise data centre solutions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
- Deep expertise in one or two areas and baseline skills and knowledge across a wide range of IT technologies.
- Relevant professional certifications and experience to demonstrate capabilities and fit for the role.
