About the Role

As part of the German development team, you will drive the expansion and development of our renewable energy portfolio in Germany across all development stages and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts for wind, solar, BESS, and hybrid projects, including land purchase/lease agreements, service contracts, EPC contracts, and cooperation agreements with landowners, authorities, project partners, and service providers.
• Reviewing and legally supporting construction and immission control law approval procedures for wind, solar, or BESS projects.
• Providing advice on EEG, EnWG, BauGB, BImSchG, and other relevant laws.
• Assisting in objection and legal proceedings against administrative decisions.
• Providing legal support for the sale or purchase of projects and project rights, including due diligence processes and project/corporate financing (securities, loan agreements, etc.).
• Drafting joint venture or other corporate law agreements.
• Performing corporate housekeeping tasks, such as preparing shareholder resolutions or founding project companies.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer (all genders).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in energy law, ideally within a company, authority, or law firm.
• Experience or sound knowledge in wind energy, public construction law, contract drafting, and/or corporate law is advantageous.
• Proficient in German and English.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and team-oriented working style.
