About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Recruitment Business Partner to drive regional growth across APAC (Commercial, Operations & Staff), with a dedicated focus on the Japan market. As a Senior Recruitment Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with our APAC hiring teams to identify, attract, and hire top talent, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy for Japan, leveraging regional expertise to oversee delivery and talent acquisition efforts across broader APAC markets.
- Source candidates and build long-term pipelines for the best talent in the market to fill roles and build the APAC team.
- Act as a primary talent advisor to leadership and HRBPs, directing recruitment strategies to elevate talent quality across APAC.
- Ensure quality of hire by translating recruitment data and market intelligence into actionable coaching for hiring managers.
- Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer management.
- Share best practices and market intelligence with the global recruitment team to upskill members beyond APAC.
Requirements
- Significant full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 4+ years in-house within fast-paced tech, SaaS, or global organizations.
- Comfortable operating in a high-ownership environment, proactively sourcing and engaging talent across niche and competitive markets.
- Experience living or working in Japan is a plus.
- Experience building talent pipelines from scratch, conducting market mapping, and influencing hiring decisions in competitive hiring environments.
- Strategic collaboration with HRBPs, Rewards, and the Business to align APAC talent strategy with long-term business goals.
- Extensive experience collecting recruiting data and leading data-informed conversations to support and influence hiring decisions.
Skills
- Business fluency in Japanese (native or JLPT N1 equivalent) is strongly preferred.
