About the Role
Expedia Group Advertising (EGA) connects the world's leading travel advertisers to powerful first-party travel intent data. Our Travel Media Network reaches millions of travelers across Expedia Group's brands, delivering measurable outcomes for travel brands. This role is crucial for seizing a growth inflection point in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, addressing the increasing pressure on Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) to demonstrate ROI and compete for high-value travelers.
Responsibilities

- Develop partnership proposals addressing strategic challenges for Japanese DMOs.
- Collaborate with advertising agencies that influence DMO media budgets.
- Develop and grow commercial relationships with Japan's major airport operators and affiliated advertisers.
- Identify partnership opportunities with airport commercial and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with the global airport vertical team to adapt global frameworks to the Japan market.
- Build and manage a robust deal pipeline, leading negotiations from prospecting to signed agreements.
- Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining client satisfaction and campaign performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global and APAC teams to deliver comprehensive partnership solutions.
- Represent EGA at industry events, DMO forums, and tourism trade shows.
- Provide market intelligence and voice-of-customer insights to inform product and proposition development.
