About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Quality Officer to support our markets in implementing product quality standards, adhering to legal and internal regulations. This role involves ensuring quality standards are met and supporting process development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for 7 METRO and METRO GASTRO markets in the greater Berlin area and northern surroundings.
• Conduct on-site quality checks and internal quality audits.
• Evaluate quality-relevant processes and corrective actions.
• Support the development of processes for internal quality standards and the HACCP system.
• Assist with external audits (IFS, MSC/ASC, Bio, GQB) and evaluate results.
• Support the handling of official complaints and customer feedback.
• Act as a point of contact for colleagues and departments.

Requirements

• Possess strong knowledge in hygiene, HACCP, and other quality standards.
• Experience in operational quality assurance or quality management is advantageous.
• A further qualification in quality and certification standards is desirable.
• Good general IT user skills, especially in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Possess a valid driver's license (car).
