About the Role
The Senior Private Wealth Adviser role drives the efficient and effective delivery of complex advice solutions to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) customers by extracting deep knowledge of their needs and providing market-leading strategic advice across wealth strategy and investment solutions. The role will provide direction and guidance to customers while confidently articulating the value of advice and delivering outcomes to improve their financial position.
Responsibilities
- Proactively build and grow our business through portfolio management, successful relationships, technology and use of data
- Ongoing conversations with high net worth customers to understand their needs and requirements to be able to provide tailored advice solutions
- Deliver strategic financial investment advice and build relationships with clients whilst managing referrals effectively
- Continuously coach and advise UHNW & HNW customers to meet and exceed their financial goals
- Actively coach and collaborate with internal referral partners and the wider Private Banking & Advice (PB&A) business
- Act in line with our purpose and strategy to re-engage the community, be worthy of their trust and ensure our products and services are provided honestly, fairly and are free of any conflicts of interest
- Actively contribute to the overall well managed PB&A business from a risk and process perspective
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Advice (including high-net-worth individual/entities), and a comprehensive understanding of markets, investments and strategic solutions to meet the customer’s needs
- High ethical standards reflected in a history of providing advice across a broad range of strategies to high net wealth clients
- Resilient, fast paced with a strong growth mindset
- Ability to build productive relationships with team members, referral partners and customers
- Ability to drive new referrals through business partners and wider internal and external networks
- Strong, effective communication skills and influencing capability
- Ability to network, use initiative and work independently
- Excellent personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Sound technical knowledge enabling the best outcomes for customers
- Experience using Advice products, systems and processes
