About the Role

This role is crucial for aligning personnel with business needs by collaborating with management and supporting resource management functions. You will be a key point of contact for resourcing information and escalations, ensuring accurate data for planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management and department leaders to align personnel with business needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with management and leadership for departmental updates and staffing alignment.
  • Support the resolution of resourcing challenges by gathering information and collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for line managers regarding project resourcing information and escalations.
  • Review resource requests to ensure adherence to project scope and needs.
  • Maintain resource forecasting and modeling based on ETC and EVA hours.
  • Keep up-to-date records of resource allocation and availability.
  • Manage and process resource schedule updates in FinancialForce Resource Planner.
  • Identify Pre-Award resource assignments.
  • Regularly review reports related to resource allocation, capacity, and utilization.
  • Leverage FinancialForce Resource Management tools to forecast and model assignments.
  • Collaborate with department stakeholders to forecast future resource demand and assess capacity planning.
  • Refine and enhance FinancialForce features to align with evolving business and resourcing needs.
  • Support initiatives to enhance resourcing processes, identify gaps, and implement best practices.
  • Attend meetings and represent the Resource Management department in cross-functional discussions.

Requirements

  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey resourcing updates, provide insights, and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to learn to address resource conflicts, resolve escalations, and make data-driven resourcing decisions.
  • Organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to learn how to navigate shifting priorities, manage unforeseen staffing challenges, and support evolving business demands.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to be professional and maintain confidentiality when handling proprietary information and sensitive situations.
  • Ability to become proficient in data tracking, reporting, and system management, with the ability to navigate and utilize various software platforms to support resource planning and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with FinancialForce, Salesforce, Excel, and other resource management software for tracking and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of departmental operations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliance in resource management.
