About the Role

The Accounts Payable Associate will work within the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payments to suppliers and provide support to the business on all types of expenses. This role offers an insight into the core elements of Finance with ample space to learn, develop and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately record supplier invoices from receipt to payment and expense posting, in collaboration with the AP Manager and Group Financial Controller, Senior Manager.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to maintain the AP ledger.
  • Proactively investigate and respond to supplier queries received via the shared inbox.
  • Support the business with payable queries related to inventory and non-inventory invoices.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller, Senior Manager with Financial Reporting and month-end processes.
  • Ensure high adherence to Finance policies and processes.
  • Assist with the employee expenses system and Accounts Receivable function.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven work experience in Finance or Accounts Payable.
  • Comfortable working with a high volume of transactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately record information.
  • Excellent track record of numerical/financial ability.
  • A passion for making a difference within the company.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in ambiguous environments, able to take responsibility and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
