About the Role
This 12-month contract opportunity as an ENT Registrar offers flexibility and significant access to experienced surgeons and tutors, including private surgical assisting. You will work within a supportive department, nurturing career development and gaining exceptional research opportunities. The role provides exposure to a wide range of ENT cases, from simple to skull base surgery, within a private hospital setting that includes an emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Private surgical assisting for the ENT team
- Work within a supportive department of consultants to nurture career development
- Gain exceptional research opportunities to enable publications, presentations and higher degrees
- Be exposed to a great range of ENT cases from simple ENT to skull base surgery
Requirements
- At least 4 years post-graduation
- Current AHPRA registration
- Full Australian working rights
- Previous ENT JMO experience (essential)
- Previous ENT on-call experience (highly desirable)
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- Flexibility to work across services and geographical locations to support patient care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use initiative
- Adaptability, a willingness to learn and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments
