About the Role
As a Global Process Owner Record to Report, you will hold a strategic key role with international reach, responsible for the global end-to-end process from the general ledger through closing, consolidation, and reporting for all company units and the Financial Shared Service Center. This position offers genuine scope for development, high visibility in an international environment, and the opportunity to sustainably shape financial and process excellence in a leading management and technology consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Drive the harmonization, standardization, and documentation of Record-to-Report processes, as well as digitalization and automation.
- Ensure audit-proof documentation and strengthen process conformity and quality through clear guidelines, best practices, and training.
- Act as the central interface for all process-relevant topics and questions.
- Define functional Record-to-Report requirements, approve solutions, and support the rollout of the SAP S/4HANA transformation in the Public Cloud.
- Strategically develop the global IFRS accounting manual and act as the functional authority for its group-wide application.
- Report to the Head of Firmwide Accounting.
Requirements
- Successfully completed Master's degree in a relevant business field.
- At least five years of professional experience in Accounting, Controlling, or Audit.
- Proven experience in the design, documentation, and management of end-to-end accounting and closing processes.
- Strong process expertise in SAP S/4HANA and sound IFRS knowledge.
- Experience with Signavio, Process Mining, or automation is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and pronounced change management competence.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of German and/or French is advantageous.
