About the Role

Supermicro is seeking a talented individual to define SDS product specifications, manage product positioning, and handle New Product Introductions (NPI). This role involves cross-functional collaboration with hardware/software design, engineering, and validation teams, as well as building strategic alliances with SDS ecosystem partners, ISVs, and channel partners. The position also requires providing technical support to Sales Representatives and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

Define SDS product specifications, manage product positioning, and handle New Product Introductions (NPI).
Collaborate with hardware/software design, engineering, and validation teams to ensure hardware aligns with SDS architectures.
Build and maintain strategic alliances with SDS ecosystem partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and channel partners.
Provide technical support to Sales Representatives and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) in pre-sales, customer meetings, and proof-of-concept (POC) rollouts.

Requirements

10+ years in server system products, enterprise storage, or data center solutions.
Strong background in hardware/software integration.
Deep understanding of Software-Defined Storage (SDS), Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), All-Flash NVMe arrays, and clustered file systems.
Exceptional presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for enterprise clients.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure customer environments.
Strong business judgment and problem-solving capability.
Strong technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration skills, and ability to drive investigations and influence stakeholders.
Fluent in Japanese and English.
Speaking Chinese is an advantage.
