About the Role
The IT Support Engineer (P3) is the primary IT contact for the Sydney office, responsible for internal technical support. This role involves maintaining a seamless technical environment and offers a growth path from localized support to overseeing global service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all internal IT requests, providing rapid, high-quality resolution for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for IT, from hardware provisioning and setup to offboarding.
- Maintain the health and availability of core corporate systems, including Video Conferencing, Printing, and Directory Services.
- Consistently meet or exceed a 90% SLA target on work items.
- Manage and maintain the SaaS and IaaS ecosystem (Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).
- Take a lead role in managing Global Support Operations, coordinating with 3rd party vendors.
- Support the Senior Systems Engineer on infrastructure projects, including network deployments and server maintenance.
- Implement and manage workflow automation to streamline support tasks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in an Internal IT environment with engineering & end user responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience with Linux & Networking Equipment.
- Experience implementing new IT solutions to corporate or industrial environments.
- Experience communicating with and managing stakeholders through changes to work systems.
- Experience following best practice procedures when managing SaaS solutions.
- Experience implementing workflow automation in IT systems to gain efficiencies or reliability.
- Experience working in IaaS platforms like AWS, Azure, GWS.
- Experience working with remote 3rd party organisations providing support.
- Demonstrable technical skillsets like Python, AI, SQL etc.
- Experience working in OnPremise Data Centre environments (racking, maintenance, cable management etc.).
- Experience deploying Networking equipment to specific organisation configurations.

- Linux OS system management (hardening, patching, logging)
- Windows OS System Management (hardening, patching, logging)
- Network foundations and key operational concepts.
- IDP, MFA, SSO
- Group Policy Management
- Linux or Windows Server, Azure, AWS, GWS certifications.
- Scripting & coding languages to help with management.
