About the Role
You will shape the technical security of patient data for psychotherapeutic practices in Germany, ensuring reliable connections to the telematics infrastructure. You will make architectural decisions and guide solutions from requirements to implementation, without needing prior healthcare IT experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing network and security solutions (UTM, firewalls, TI connection) and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze technical requirements and develop solution approaches with development, support, and product management.
- Oversee the evolution of security products from requirements to go-live, bridging technical and non-technical teams.
- Monitor market and regulatory developments (telematics infrastructure, gematik) and integrate relevant advancements into the team.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with network security, UTM systems, and firewalls (e.g., LANCOM, Sophos, Fortinet).
- Understanding of security architectures and their management.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Very good German language skills (C1) for daily communication.
- Residency in Berlin or a concrete desire to relocate.
