About the Role
As a Service Technician / Mechatronics Technician SHK (m/w/d) in Berlin's district heating network, you will ensure reliable heat supply to residents in the southeast of the capital. You will maintain our systems using state-of-the-art technology, handle diverse tasks, and work with a strong team to advance the heat transition.
Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of heating and hot water systems.
- Maintenance and repair of heating systems and associated control technology.
- Troubleshooting and fault clearance, including electronic measurements and diagnostics.
- Control technology: Installation and adjustment of control and regulation systems.
- Adherence to all relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Independent work and training of apprentices.
- On-call duty participation in the Berlin area after training, including a company car for private use during on-call periods.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an SHK systems mechanic, heating installer, gas/water installer, or comparable qualification.
- Good knowledge of relevant technical regulations and safety standards in heating and building technology.
- Practical experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems and heat generators.
- Technical understanding, independent work style, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience with digital systems for documentation or system control is advantageous.
- Sense of responsibility, teamwork, and a confident, friendly demeanor.
- Independent and structured work approach with a high degree of reliability.
