About the Role

The MVZ Praxis Westend GmbH in Berlin is seeking a specialist in internal medicine with a focus on cardiology to join their team and provide high-quality care to cardiological patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiological support and consultation to patients.
• Advise and manage patients enrolled in disease management programs (DMPs), focusing on coronary artery disease and chronic heart failure.
• Manage and treat hypertension patients.
• Support cardiological patients post-acute events, including those recently discharged after a heart attack.
• Collaborate closely with specialist cardiologists within the MVZ.
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and hospitals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences.

Requirements

• Specialist recognition in Internal Medicine.
• Demonstrated interest in basic cardiological care and diagnostic procedures.
• Experience in managing chronically ill patients and implementing DMPs.
• Patient-oriented approach with high professional competence.
• Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests (ECG, Holter ECG, Holter BP, stress testing).
• Strong communication and empathetic skills with patients of all ages.
• Enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration within an MVZ setting.
