About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead by example, owning the end-to-end analysis lifecycle across complex projects and programmes. You will work in fast-paced Agile environments, coaching junior team members and driving high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Leading Agile business analysis across the full project lifecycle
- Mentoring and supporting junior analysts to develop their skills and confidence
- Facilitating workshops to elicit, define, and prioritise user stories and requirements
- Producing clear and accurate documentation including AS-IS/TO-BE process maps, user journeys, and functional specifications
- Supporting product owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders to align on business goals
- Modelling business processes and analysing system interactions and data flows
- Supporting change impact analysis and ensuring successful transitions to BAU
- Promoting best practices in Agile ceremonies and business analysis discipline
Requirements
- Eligibility for Security Clearance
- 5+ years in business analysis roles with strong Agile delivery experience
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Hands-on delivery within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to lead workshops and drive prioritisation with business and technical teams
- Strong documentation skills across process mapping, requirements, and user stories
- Comfortable delivering under pressure in dynamic environments
- Experience with both business and system-level analysis
- Familiarity with change impact assessment and adoption planning
- Background in a consultancy environment
- Experience in legal, defence, government, or public sector
- Experience on infrastructure or transformation projects
- Understanding of UI/UX, wireframes, and prototyping
- Exposure to Waterfall alongside Agile delivery approaches
