About the Role
As a Principal Consultant, you will be a sales-focused technology specialist and a trusted advisor to clients. You will act as the technical lead on projects, overseeing Technical/Delivery Consultants on larger engagements. This role offers ongoing development opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth, innovation, knowledge sharing, and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate client systems and architecture, drawing conclusions and developing recommendations.
- Discuss project scope and budget with the customer, directing implementation on time and budget without sacrificing quality.
- Act as a team leader on large engagements, taking ownership of project outcomes and quality.
- Identify and resolve project issues with clients.
- Write proposal components or letters of understanding, and respond to RFPs and other marketing situations.
Requirements
- Significant experience in professional services, with end-to-end experience across pre-sales, architecture, design, and delivery.
- Solid presales experience including leading client discovery workshops, translating business requirements into technical solutions, preparing and delivering tailored PoCs, developing solution architectures and proposals, collaborating with sales teams on RFP/RFI responses, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
- Significant expertise designing and delivering solutions using multiple Microsoft Azure data platform services (e.g. Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Analysis Services).
- Experience designing and delivering Gen AI solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Experience utilizing Gen AI as a tool to deliver projects.
