About the Role
Gain practical experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and actively contribute to HSE processes. This role involves ensuring the smooth implementation of systematic measures, policies, and training to prevent workplace accidents and maintain employee health. You will work hands-on and have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas.
Responsibilities
- Update and create risk assessments
- Update and create work instructions
- Accompany safety inspections
- Prepare and support safety briefings
- Support safety and health protection campaigns
- Take minutes for meetings (e.g., ASA meetings, inspections)
- Maintain and update HSE content on the intranet
Requirements
- Ongoing studies in safety engineering, fire protection, or a comparable field
- Organized, reliable, and structured work approach, even with multiple tasks
- Communication skills, empathy, and openness in dealing with people
- Interest in HSE trends and a desire to learn new tools and methods
- Availability for 15-20 hours per week during the semester, with the option for more hours during semester breaks
