About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Attend a minimum of 1 Aquafit class per week and support the instructor.
  • Participate alongside members, helping beginners feel comfortable understanding exercises and class flow.
  • Complete Aquafit Level 1 training to become an Aquafit Instructor.
  • Be committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and building a sense of belonging.
  • Embrace and exemplify the Y’s core values.
  • Lead participants through a fun, safe, and high-energy Aquafit class from the pool deck.

Requirements

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (issued within the past 6 months).

Skills

  • High "Fun Factor".
  • Energetic and motivating.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Employees & Members.
