About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate advanced machining equipment, interpret complex engineering drawings, and contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality components. This role involves machine maintenance, process improvement collaboration, and record-keeping, all while upholding strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling, turning, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts and components to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, ensuring precision in each project.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and suggest improvements for manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and other relevant metrics.
- Uphold the company's commitment to quality by exercising attention to detail and implementing best practices in machining.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding related tools and equipment.
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in relation to measurements and tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
