About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts. This role is crucial for maintaining quality and efficiency in our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Ensure all safety protocols and standards are adhered to in the workplace.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of production quantities, defects, and downtime.
- Assist in training new operators and providing technical guidance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred.
- Proficient in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
- Experience with different types of CNC machines, including lathes and mills.
- Background in manufacturing or production environments preferred.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
